Welcome

I understand that choosing a counsellor/therapist is difficult at a time when you are already struggling.

I hope that you find enough information about myself and how I work to help you make a decision whether you would like to get in touch.

About Me

I am an integrative Psychotherapist qualified to Masters level and I have 18 years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy for individual adults and couples.

I work with a number of recognised therapy approaches to support clients, as I do not believe that one approach fits all. Looking at issues from a number of different perspectives leads to a greater depth of understanding and ultimately growth and change.

We will engage in a therapeutic relationship that provides a safe, supportive space for you to be heard, explore your issues, and find/learn new strategies to lead a more fulfilling life.

In addition to private practice I have experience in providing high intensity counselling to NHS clients and in providing counselling, support, supervision and training for multiple local and national charities.

I take referrals from private individuals and private health insurances (Bupa, Aviva),

I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP reg) and work within their ethical guidelines. I hold professional insurance, I am DBS checked, and I am registered with the ICO.

I am on a voluntary register which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. This scheme is set up by the Government to improve standards and safety for the benefit of the public.

I offer both individual and couples counselling sessions in-person or via video conferencing.
